Sacred Heart women's soccer team wins state title

[caption id="attachment_321646" align="alignnone" width="1024"] @PrepSpin[/caption] Before we close out the night, a big congratulations to the Sacred Heart women's soccer team, which defeated Lexington Catholic 2-0 this afternoon to win the state title. Seniors Gabriela Quintero and Katie Barney scored goals for the No. 1 Valkyries, while goalkeeper Amanda Isaacs -- daughter of lawyer Darryl Isaacs -- made four huge saves to seal the win vs. the No. 3 Knights. Her save in the 74th minute (pictured above) helped sealed the win for Sacred Heart. This is Sacred Heart's seventh state title since 2003. Congrats, ladies!
