Here we go. - The Jordan Brand Classic was last night and the future cats impressed us. Skal finished with 10 points and 12 boards, Briscoe had a resounding 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and Charles Matthews was limited in action with an injury. The star of the show was Cheick Diallo. He finished with 26 points and 11 points in the East's 2-point loss 118-116. - Tom Haberstroh of ESPN wrote an article on Anthony Davis and it was pretty great. I'll summarize the article by saying this, Anthony Davis is really, really good. He has become one of the most efficient young players in the game and will be an all-star staple for years to come as long as he stays healthy. He's already this clutch as a young player, I can't wait until we see AD in his prime. - The NBA announced yesterday that they will be expanding their antidrug program next season in the NBA. Players will be subject t0 blood tests for HGH (Human Growth Hormone) as early as training camp next season. Adam Silver said there isn't reason to believe many NBA players use peds, but expanding the existing drug policy couldn't hurt the integrity of the game going forward. - The NBA playoffs start today and many ex-Cats will be in action.
