Savvy Swords, the No. 10 recruit in the 2026 class, officially signs with Kentucky

Kenny Brooks and Kentucky have officially added to the 2206 recruiting class with the signing of Savvy Swords, the No. 10 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Rankings. Swords is one of two top 10 commits for the program, with the other being Maddyn Greenway (who should also be signing during the early signing period).
Swords is also high school teammates with fellow UK signee Emily McDonald at Long Island Lutheran (NY). The two highly-ranked recruits will stick together to make for an awesome tandem in Lexington.

The 6-foot-1 wing originally committed to Kentucky over UCLA, South Carolina, Notre Dame as well as Michigan, where her sister, Syla, plays. Clearly, Savvy wanted to chart her own path at the collegiate level.

Swords can do it all offensively with the ability to score at all three levels. Her outside shot has been a more recent development, but now, she’s one of the better shooters in the class. Of course, her size and length will allow her to flourish in Kentucky’s defense.
Kentucky has quite the foundation set for the next several years, and Swords will surely be a very instrumental part of it.
