SEC players dominate the Senior Bowl Watch List

by:Andrew McCarthy08/20/13
Senior-Bowl-Social-Media-In-Sports   The Senior Bowl committee just released their 2014 Watch List and - shocker - the SEC dominates it. Of the 400 players selected, 72 hail from the SEC, including 10 from Alabama alone. The next most represented conference was the ACC with 48. Senior Bowl executive director Phil Savage said, on the release of the list: "With 60,000-plus athletes playing college football, and only 250 or so NFL draft choices each year, we believe there is some legitimate prestige with being placed on our 'official' Watch List." ILB Avery Williamson was the lone Cat to make the cut. It's a hard knock life in the SEC, y'all. Just in case you forgot.
