Seth Davis tries to find UK's missing piece

by:Thomas Beisner12/28/09
Every year, Seth Davis likes to play a little fantasy game called "Jigsaw Man", where he takes the top teams in college basketball, assesses their weaknesses and then awards them a player from a second-tier team to make them more complete. This year, Kentucky is again one of the cool kids and Davis says their biggest weaknesses are defense and attitude. Matt Jones' foe turned friend then gives the Cats Missouri guard JT Tiller, a 6-3 senior averaging 10 points per game with a reputation as a defensive stopper. It's no question that a defensive stopper in the backcourt would be a welcome addition to any team, but do you agree with Davis' assessment that the Cats need to improve their defense and their attitude? And, just for kicks, who is your "Jigsaw Guy" that you'd add to the Cats this year? I'm going with Kobe Bryant, so don't copy me.
