Ron Holmes, the father of Shabazz Muhammad, is tired of hearing your Adidas comments. The accusations that his son picked UCLA because of the uncomfortable shoe brand are completely false, according to Holmes. He claims Shabazz is going to UCLA to
"bring a storied program back to prominence." He wants his son to be the guy who saves the Bruins.
Ummm... Yeah. Right.
It typically takes more than one year to turn a program around and no one will convince me that Shabazz is sticking around to be UCLA's savior. Adidas had a huge impact. Shabazz's sister is the No. 386th ranked tennis player in the world and she has a a deal with Adidas -- it's a family thing. You're not fooling anyone, Ron.
