Mark Stoops dropped some news in his postgame press conference when he announced running back Sihiem King will redshirt this season. King, a senior, played in every game his first three seasons in Lexington. Last year he carried the ball 79 times for 364 yards and two scores, and was in the running to be the No. 2 man behind Benny Snell this season. But with the solid play of A.J. Rose in the backup role, King made the tough decision to sit this year out so he'll have another chance for touches in 2019. Where that will be, though, no one knows. When asked about the possibility of a transfer, Stoops said they will address that at another time.
