Singleton in, Jennings out for Big Blue Madness

chrisss.jpeg As the recruiting world moves, the names of those who will visit for Midnight Madness in the Bluegrass continues to change. Confirmation today comes from multiple sources that Chris Singleton will be attending Midnight Madness this weekend. Singleton is coming off what is considered to have been a wildly successful visit in Knoxville and may end his visits soon after his trip to Lexington, after having already visited UT and Florida State. But with that good news comes bad news in the form of Scout.com's report tonight that Terrence Jennings will be visiting Louisville this weekend.....a blow for the Cats who, according to those that I have spoken with close to Jennings, did invite him for the trip. You may remember that UL was not mentioned by Jennings in his top 5, but his decision to use his first visit on them, coupled with the relationship his new mentor has with Pitino, suggests that the Cards are in a very good position. We also know that Jon Hood and Jon Wall, two kids from the class of 2009 that will be at the top of Kentucky's wish list, will both be attending Madness. It will be Wall's second visit to campus, an amazing feat for Billy Clyde considering that Wall is widely considered one of the best point guards in America in his class. As for Hood, the likely progression of him to a future Kentucky commitment begins with this visit as the city of Madisonville rejoices in its newest star's Kentucky courtship. Finally, it is very likely (although not confirmed) that Garret Stutz will be making the trip this weekend as well, adding to the number of big men on campus. It is no secret that Stutz is far from my favorite player in this class, but it is equally clear that Billy Clyde has become quite a fan of the young man and his potential. We also expect UK commitments Darius Miller, KC Ross-Miller and Dakotah Euton to be in attendance as well. More on all of this as the week progresses......if you are interested in the White Castle contest, please email me at [email protected] are filling up.....
