Skyy Clark will announce top 3 schools on Thursday

Skyy Clark's recruitment has taken an interesting turn over the last few days and he's soon going to announce his top three potential college choices.
Earlier on Tuesday, the five-star point guard out of the class of 2022 tweeted out that he will be trimming his list of schools down from eight to just three. Back on August 8, Clark posted to Twitter that he was considering Kentucky, North Carolina, Memphis, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee State, UCLA and USC.

Rumors have been swirling since this past weekend that Clark, who has long been considered a strong Kentucky lean, might be trending towards North Carolina. Rivals' recruiting expert Corey Evans even went as far as to switch his FutureCast prediction in favor of Clark picking the Tar Heels instead of the 'Cats.
Many within the recruiting sphere, including Evans, ultimately believe that Clark will jump up to the class of 2021 by the time his process is all said and done, but that might not be beneficial for Kentucky. John Calipari and the coaching staff recently extended an offer to Hunter Sallis, a five-star combo guard in the class of 2021, back on Aug. 21. According to Evans, he sees Kentucky landing one or the other between Clark and Sallis if the former does eventually elect to move ahead a year to the class of 2021.
“As of today, I still think Kentucky is the team to beat,” Evans said on The Kentucky Daily podcast. “But no one has recruited Skyy Clark harder and more persistent [than UNC]. They have discussed an opening in the backcourt with Caleb Love leaving after a one-and-done season, that could be Skyy Clark’s spot. That’s nothing to slight Kentucky’s chances, the way Joel Justus has recruited Skyy, along with John Calipari. This is not a done deal for Kentucky, and many assumed it was as soon as a week ago. That’s not the case.”
It feels likely that Clark will wind up putting Kentucky and North Carolina as two of the three schools to make his final cut. The 'Cats not making the list would have to make you think they're going all-in on Sallis. We'll soon find out on Thursday...
