[caption id="attachment_224407" align="aligncenter" width="612"] @Cdn_Ballers[/caption] The U.S.'s 6 year streak of competing for gold at the FIBA U19 World Cup ended today, as they were forced to settle for bronze in a win over Spain, 96-72. Who is the primary culprit to blame for the Americans' stumble? R.J. Barrett. You may be unfamiliar with Barrett, since he's still only a sophomore in high school, but you're going to hear his name much more often in the years to come, so if you are only just hearing his name, consider this your introduction to a future star. Barrett is the top player in the class of 2019 according to 247 Sports. At 6'6", 180 lbs., he's not overwhelmingly big for a small forward, but his game is, let's just say versatile: Barrett is a product of Montverde Academy in Florida, the same school that produced D'Angelo Russell, Joel Embiid, and UK's own Dakari Johnson. As of now, 247's Crystal Ball is all in on Duke for Barrett, but there's still plenty of time for Kentucky to make a move. After Barrett's 38 point performance against Team USA, you can bet Cal is already preparing a pitch for this kid. @JayWinkKSR
