Okay recruiting nerds, this may be the only time I provide any worthwhile information on this topic. I had a source EXTREMELY close to Mr. Scotty Hopson relay to me that his recent verbal pledge to the Bulldogs was done more to get the phone to stop ringing than anything else. He stated that young Scotty is growing tiresome of the nonstop recruitment and is anxious to return to what normalcy he can salvage as a high school junior. To those of you who had them, think back to your high school girlfriend. Sure, she wasn't that pretty but she let you get to second sometimes and you said you would always be together. Then, one day, you realized maybe foresaking all others at age 15 wasn't the best idea afterall and reconsidered. State may be Scotty's true love but I think this is his high school girlfriend of colleges. They were there early and basically just asked him out before any of the other "prettier" colleges- not that he had to settle for State, they just put out first. Look for him to reconsider this decision before its all said and done. Not my words- it is the anonymous source.
