Earlier this week we shared some of the
early spreads for this fall's Kentucky football games. Now South Point Casino has college football season win totals for each team and the Cats' number might surprise you.
Vegas set UK's over/under win total at seven (the under is -120). The same number of wins from a year ago, the Cats upset of Louisville negated their upset loss to Southern Miss.
If you don't believe the Cats will be improved, consider this:
Kentucky will return 17 starters in 2017, nine on defense and eight on offense, tied for third-most in all of FBS. This year's schedule also sets up favorably for the Wildcats, considered
the tenth most difficult in the SEC by CBS, their 2017 opponents won just 51.97 percent of their games in 2016.
With all that being said, it's still tough to bet the over when it's set at seven.
The last time Kentucky won eight regular season games it was 1984. But if you can find the Cats anywhere below seven, consider the money free.
