Oh hey, Steve Kerr is back. Kerr had some pretty harsh, and yet very honest words about Kentucky being left out of the NCAA tournament.
"When there are 68 teams and you don't get in, you only have to look in the mirror."
Kerr went on to expand a bit more on the Cats, "You can look at a number of games on the schedule Kentucky is probably kicking themselves for not winning. Certainly, the Noel injury set them back. They had to re-invent themselves on the fly." Kerr also noted a weak SEC as hurting Kentucky's chances.
Even with Kentucky's exclusion, Kerr said the Cats probably still could have won a few games had they made the field. "That's how even the field is."
