Sunday in UK land

by:Matt Jones08/19/07
s After a great weekend in the 'Nati, I am back home at the Kentucky Sports Radio Compound and ready for the week ahead. Yesterday was somewhat of a momentous day around here as it is the first day in over a year and a half that I havent made a post on this blog. That is right, every day, including Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc, I have found a way to a computer to make a post. But yesterday I took the day off and it actually was quite refreshing. I spent the evening at the Bengals game in the Campbellsville University suite (which was excellent and extremely nice of them to offer up) and enjoying a weekend away. But now with football season creeping up, it is time to focus. Over the course of today, you will read a post on the Greatest UK player ever tournament, a great rundown on a UK scandal of the past from Jon Scott and some other info, including (hopefully) a recruiting interview this evening. So stay tuned. But until then, give a shout out to Brandon Webb, former UK and now Diamondbacks pitcher who is working on 42 straight scoreless innings.....a remarkable accomplishment. The Baseball Cats continue to rise and Webb is the latest example of that trend. Until later.....
