Links Rise and shine, Big Blue Nation it's Sunday morning! While I am just as disappointed as you that we aren't rolling out of bed from a football victory the night before, we can hang on to the fact that it's just right around the corner. So while your ears are perking up at the thought of tailgating in just a short 13 days, here are some Sunday Morning links to hold you over: -Yesterday a team from Bowling Green, Kentucky surpassed Portland, Oregon in a Little League World Series elimination game. They won 7-5 thanks to home-run star Devin Obee. Get all the details on this Kentucky team and more here. -16 offensive linemen walk into a bar...Okay so maybe that's not exactly how it goes, but the University of Kentucky Football team's offensive line did walk into the Shoney's buffet over the summer during one of their team bonding trips. According to their coach, John Schlarman, this is the closest o-line he's had, and not just because of their shared love for food. -The Kentucky football team had what many are calling a season-changing practice last night, August 22nd, as coach Mark Stoops led the team through a second practice of the day at 8:30 p.m. What exactly went down, we aren't sure, but when Landon Foster says he's ready to hit someone you know it must've been one for the books. -And just when you were starting to lose faith in humanity after trolling Facebook for three hours, here is something to give you hope. Devin Booker took a trip to his former stomping ground, Moss Point, speaking to their middle school students about hard work. See, even kids with bright futures in the NBA still realize what really matters in life. Well done, Booker, well done.
