And also, because the Cats are 1-0. The Cats are undefeated! After a great first half and a not so a great second half, the Cats pulled out the W in their season opener. Kentucky defeated the Ragin Cajuns 40-33 on a Mikel Horton last-minute touchdown. Keep scrolling too see all the postgame notes from Nick, Drew and Tyler. The only SEC East team that lost was Vanderbilt, who lost to Western Kentucky 14-12 on Thursday. As for the rest of the SEC, every team won except for LSU whose game got canceled due to weather. The NFL Preseason is Over Sadly, there is no NFL preseason today. After four weeks of preseason play, NFL teams are now preparing for the first official week of games. A week from today, multiple former Cats will playing in their first games of the 2015-16 season. The volleyball team fell to Creighton on Saturday The No. 10 ranked volleyball team fell to Creighton in straight sets on Saturday in the UNI tournament. The Cats next game is on Friday against N0. 6 ranked Illinois at the Wichita State Tournament. The No. 22 ranked women's soccer team is back in action today After defeating Louisville on Friday 1-0, the women's soccer team takes on Ohio at 6:00 p.m. at the Bell Center in Lexington.
