Sunday's Top 10: Football Fanatics and BIG3 Basketball

  Don't write your weekend off just yet. Here are the top 10 things you need to know to ensure your Sunday is a good one:  

 Kentucky football held its annual Fan Day on Saturday

  Mark Stoops & Co. provided Kentucky football fans with an unparalleled firsthand experience inside the UK program on Saturday. First, spectators flooded Nutter Field House for over an hour of autographs and photographs with players and coaches. In the afternoon, the event shifted to the Joe Craft Football Training Facility, where onlookers stood on the sidelines for a UK football open practice.  

 Stoops confirmed Lynn Bowden's eligibility

  Kentucky Sports Radio's Matt Jones reported that Kentucky freshman Lynn Bowden had been cleared by the NCAA last Friday, but Stoops confirmed Bowden's eligibility when asked at Fan Day. The 6-foot-1 former four-star athlete is expected to play the majority of his time at wide receiver this fall.

  KSR was in attendance for the open practice at Fan Day, allowing an inside look at the Wildcats in on-field action. Check out Jack's extensive recap.  

 BIG3 basketball comes to Rupp Arena

  The BIG3 basketball league is coming to Rupp Arena on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET. The Lexington portion of the 3x3 basketball event created by Ice Cube will take place over four consecutive games in Week 7 of the regular season. The showcase features former NBA greats as both players and coaches, including Julius "Dr. J" Erving, Clyde Drexler, and Chauncey Billups, among others. Allen Iverson, who acts as a player-coach for his team, 3's Company, will be serving a one-game suspension as the league makes its way to Lexington. KSR's Jack Pilgrim will be there to cover all the in-game action.  

 Boogie notched a double-double in an NBA Africa Game victory

  Former Kentucky big man DeMarcus Cousins led Team World to a 108-97 win over Team Africa in the second NBA Africa Game on Saturday in Johannesburg, South Africa. The one-time Southeastern Conference Rookie of the Year was one of two players to post a double-double while representing the United Staes, notching 11 points, 10 rebounds, four steals, and two assists in 17 minutes as a starter.

 Game of Thrones returns at 9 p.m.

  The seventh season of HBO's Game of Thrones returns for a fourth episode, called "The Spoils of War." Catch up on all the drama with Nick Roush and T.J. Walker on "Kentucky Thrones Radio" before watching Sunday's premiere.  

 The KSR Summer Tour continues on Monday

  The 2017 KSR Summer Tour resumes on Monday when Matt and the gang are live from the Maker’s Mark Distillery in Loretto, Ky. As always, tune in live at 10 a.m.
