Score one for the girls. Swiss Skydiver went toe-to-toe with Kentucky Derby winner, Authentic, to win the 145th running of the Preakness Stakes by a nose. Trained by Kenny McPeek, Swiss Skydiver is the first filly to win this leg of the Triple Crown since Rachel Alexandra in 2009. https://twitter.com/NBCSports/status/1312510174800744448?s=20 Authentic is the first of Bob Baffert's six Kentucky Derby winners to lose in the Preakness Stakes. The victory punches Swiss Skydiver's ticket into the Breeders' Cup Classic next month. The last time she raced at Keeneland, the filly came in second in the Blue Grass Stakes. Swiss Skydiver went off at 11-1 odds, with a $2 win ticket paying $25.40. Jesus' Team (40-1) narrowly edged out Art Collector for third, paying trifecta winners $602.85.
