Former Kentucky track superstar and Olympic gold medalist Sydney McLaughlin has released her first exclusive apparel collection with New Balance.

After securing gold medals in the women’s 400m hurdle and women’s 4x400m relay at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, McLaughlin returned home and dropped the NB x Sydney McLaughlin collection, one that features running and lifestyle shoes, shirts, pants, bras and a jacket.

McLaughlin signed an exclusive footwear and apparel sponsorship deal with New Balance back in October 2018 following her one-and-done season at Kentucky. She announced her partnership with the apparel company just four months after turning pro.

“New Balance has a long-standing history as an excellent running company,” McLaughlin announced at the time. “They are the perfect partner for me. I’m thrilled to join the Team New Balance family, a brand that not only shares the same values and principles that are important to me but also supports its athletes on and off the track.”

At the time, the former Kentucky star was estimated to be one of the highest earners in the sport. She has since confirmed those estimates, dominating the competition in her first three years as a pro and thriving on the Olympic stage.

McLaughlin broke the women’s 400m hurdles world record not once, but twice this summer. The first came during Olympic qualifiers (51.90 seconds), followed by another in Tokyo with a 51.46-second finish, breaking her own world record by nearly half a second.

She also helped Team USA cruise to a gold medal in the women’s 4x400m relay, finishing in 3:16:85. McLaughlin led the way, followed by Allyson Felix, Dalilah Muhammad and Athing Mu.
