As expected, Sydney McLaughlin is one of the fastest runners in America. The Kentucky track team's freshman phenom is off to a fast start in the indoor season.  At today's McCravy Memorial Track and Field Meet, she ran 400m in 51.44.  The time leads the NCAA and set a UK school and freshman record. Sydney's performance was one of many that helped the Kentucky women win the meet.  Jasmine Camacho-Quinn won the 200m hurdle, the 60m hurdle and the 200m. https://twitter.com/NathanSchwake/status/959876988688388096 Marie-Josee Ebwea-Bile won the triple jump and long jump, Nicole Fautsch won the shot put and Olivia Gruver did this: In other news, the mens' team also got a home victory.
