Tajh Ariza Looking to Visit Kentucky in the Fall: 'They're Only Going to Get Better'

Tajh Ariza remains one of Kentucky’s top 2026 targets as the live period heats up. The 2026 five-star forward told KSR+ that Kentucky is reaching out “every other day.”
The 6-foot-8, 180-pound small forward recently transferred to St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA) for his senior season and is now playing with Team WhyNot on the Nike EYBL Circuit. The moves haven’t stopped Kentucky’s strong pursuit.
“[Mark] Pope and Jason Hart talk to me every other day,” Ariza said. “They had a pretty good year considering they’re new to that environment. They did pretty well and made it to the tournament. They’re only going to get better.”
While Ariza wasn’t able to get to Kentucky for a visit this season, he did watch them play. He was impressed with what he saw.
“I like it because it’s a pro style,” he said. “They get out and run. Everybody fills their role.”
What’s Next?
Tajh Ariza doesn’t have any visits planned, but he’s lining them up for the fall. He told KSR+ that Kentucky, Texas, USC, Michigan, and Kansas are among the schools in contact the most.
While Ariza said he wants to take official visits in the fall, he isn’t sure about a commitment. It’s still early.

“I don’t really have a set time for a commitment or any of that,” Ariza said. “I’m just weighing all of my options. It’s not going to happen for a little while still. I’m weighing out my options and seeing what I have.”
Ariza has previously taken an unofficial visit to USC. He hasn’t taken any official visits yet.
Tajh Ariza’s Game

On3 ranks Ariza as the No. 6 player overall, the No. 4-ranked small forward, and the No. 4 overall player in California.
“I want to show my versatility [this summer],” Ariza said. “Being a defender, showing I can make plays, and getting in the lane.”
