UK announced a list of ten absences due to "various reasons."
  • Running Back Chris Rodriguez
  • Linebacker Jamin Davis
  • Linebacker D'Eryk Jackson
  • Linebacker Torrance Davis
  • Tight End Justin Rigg
  • Tight End Brendan Bates
  • Punter Max Duffy
  • Offensive Guard Luke Fortner
  • Defensive Back Taj Dodson J
  • Cornerback Jamari Brown
Kentucky will be without its best offensive and defensive players. Additionally, they will only have two tight ends (Keaton Upshaw, Nik Ognenovic) and three linebackers available. Marquez Bembry earned his first career start a week ago for the injured DeAndre Square, who should be good to go, along with Jared Casey. Even though UK is down one starting guard, Kenneth Horsey is available and is expected to return after missing the Vanderbilt game with a minor injury.
