tjones Stop me if you've heard this one in the last year... A Kentucky basketball player was named SEC Freshman of the Week. Terrence Jones took the SEC's young pup honors this week after averaging 23 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks in that tournament held during Matt Jones' vacation.  Jones (Terrence, not Matt) tied for second most points scored by a UK freshman with his 29 point performance against Oklahoma.  His 17 rebounds against Washington tied for sixth most rebounds by a freshman in UK history. This is the second time Terrence Jones has been named SEC Freshman of the Week and the 3,417th time a Kentucky player has received the honor since 2009. Congratulations, Terrence.  I'm looking forward to copying and pasting this post next Monday.
