Uh oh. The SEC is in trouble. Terry Touchdown's got his swagger back. Wednesday evening the Kentucky quarterback joined Peter Burns and Roman Harper on The Paul Finebaum Show to discuss his return to the football field. Terry Wilson is ready to show the world what he can do in 2020. "I'm just more comfortable. I've learned a lot," Wilson said. "My confidence has sky-rocketed. I've got my swagger back. I just feel more confident, ready to show everybody what I can do." Harper, a former Alabama defensive back and Super Bowl Champion with the New Orleans Saints, ranked Wilson as the No. 4 returning quarterback in the SEC. A guy who has torn his ACL before, Harper asked Wilson what he worked on during his down time to become a better quarterback. "Consistency" was the word that came to mind because physically, Wilson's never felt better. "First, I'd say my body is 100 percent. My body's feeling good. I got my speed. I worked a ton of speed work this summer. Just working on my speed, I feel like my accuracy is where it needs to be. The things that I've watched through film of the previous years, those little things that I needed to work on, those are the type of things that I've really tried to focus on during this offseason." Even though Terry Wilson feels great and the Wildcats are returning 15 of 22 starters, few still believe Kentucky can even go .500 in the SEC this year. The critics only serve to fuel Kentucky's fire. "I feel like it just drives us," said Wilson. "It makes us work harder. It builds that chip on our shoulder that we need to have. Everybody is going to sleep on us, but we're out here putting in the work and getting better each day. It just boosts our confidence. We want to prove everybody wrong."
