Texas A&M Already Helping SEC's Academic Image

Go back and look at that picture again.  Really, take a second, I'll be here. Notice anything... peculiar? That's right, one of our proud conference's newest schools has made quite the gaffe, apparently not even knowing what states have schools in our wonderful SEC. The shirt above shows a section of the United States map which, supposedly, depicts the home states of SEC schools.  However, for some reason the designer decided to throw North Carolina in the mix, just for fun.  It would be one thing if North Carolina were a hotbed for football powerhouses (like Texas A&M wants to be); then it would make sense to throw them into the SEC, which has been the best football conference for several years now.  But North Carolina is a worse football state than Kentucky.  There's no reason for Texas A&M to even know they exist, much less put them on their shirts. But not only did the shirt designers add a state that shouldn't be there, they left out a couple states that should, including themselves.  Unlike the Big East, the Big 12 doesn't care when their schools leave, so both A&M are joining this year.  I understand that they're not in quite yet, but if the whole point of the shirt is to celebrate/commemorate being in the conference, you figure you'd put yourself on it, right? The outfitter responsible for the shirt either was told about the error, or actually looked at the shirt, and issued an apology explanation that didn't even try to make excuses.
Howdy Ags -- This is Aggieland Outfitters. I thought I'd repost this under a new personal account to follow the guidelines of TexAgs.com. All I can say is we messed up on this shirt. ... Sometimes mistakes happen and we just plain missed it. Hopefully we didn't ruin anyone's day with this. Gig'em! Aggieland Outfitters
Oh, please, you didn't ruin my day. Quite the opposite, in fact.  After almost having a heart attack yesterday for three wonderful, then agonizing seconds, I needed some kind of goofy distraction.  A&M delivered in a pinch, proving that they're just another team for us to beat in both basketball and the ever-sexy geography bees.  Can we get a team for that, please?  I'll coach it.  I don't know if we'd win, but I know we wouldn't get last.
