Some quick notes... Kentucky opened the game with a 15-0 run. Portland never stood a chance.  Cats won big, 79-48. Darius Miller played like the Darius Miller he needs to be this year. He scored 15 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, had 4 assists, swatted 4 shots, and had 5 steals.  Miller scored 7 consecutive points during the Cats' opening run.  Not quite beast mode - but close. DeAndre Liggins is my favorite player. I already called dibs on him.  You can pick from the others. Welcome to Jortland, Oregon. Jorts grabbed a career high 12 rebounds against the Pilots and completely redeemed himself after his disappointing performance against ETSU.  Does he owe it all to practicing with Enes?  And would it be rude of us to ask him to shave that line beard? Who set the line at 6.5? Seriously.  I was going to bet my life savings on this game but the minimum wager was $10. We aren't supposed to compare Brandon Knight to John Wall. But it's so hard not to. 21 points and 3 turnovers. Fast. Real fast. Terrence Jones would like a redo. It wasn't a terrible performance from Terrence Jones but he didn't exactly put on a show for his hometown friends and family.  Jones scored the first two points of the game (on a terrible Whitaker bank shot) but didn't score again until the second half.  He finished with 12 points on 5-14 shooting. The live blog was awesome. Does anyone know how many fouls Darius Miller has? The ESPN U announcers were not awesome. I put the game on mute and listened to my Sound Spa relaxation therapy sound machine during the second half.  The gentle wind and harbor swell settings knew more about the game than those two d-bags. Knutson is a very unfortunate last name. I'll leave it at that. Doron Lamb can shoot. But you knew that already.  As far as I know, he is still available in the favorite player draft.  If I were you, I'd lock him up quick. UK will play Oklahoma Monday night at 5:30 ET on ESPN2. The Sooners' Cade Davis is a tenth year senior.
