Crazy-Harry-Potter-Fans-3 Well, well, well JK Rowling.  "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!" huh?  Seems that today Ms. Rowling and Warner Bros. have agreed to a deal for her to pen more entries--prequels--in the Harry Potter universe.  This time, though, it's going to be a screenplay based upon a textbook from Hogwart's.  Per the official press release, "At the center of the partnership is a new film series from Rowling’s world of witches and wizards, inspired by Harry Potter’s Hogwarts textbook “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and the adventures of the book’s fictitious author, Newt Scamander." So, a disappointment to fans of Harry, Ron, and Hermagninie (sp?) maybe, but another chance for us Muggles to explore the vast world of wizarding!  Since they're also planning on releasing a video game and more toys, Rowling shouldn't be hurting for a job or money anytime soon.  She's already wedged right in-between Gisele Bundchen and Alec Baldwin on the Forbes Celebrity 100 and I'm imagining this multi-year deal could definitely catapult her up to the Dr. Phil/Glenn Beck range (#33-34). I don't know though, I'm not completely sold on the fact that we need more Harry Potter crap.  With more Fast and Furious movies, Marvel Comics movies, and a never ending stream of Pirates of the Caribbean movies forthcoming do we really need sequel upon sequel of things? (Note:  Star Wars is an exception, they can keep making those.  I don't have any logical explanation other than they need to redeem themselves for the Phantom Menace) Maybe Dumbledore will be cooler in them though.  He was supposed to be a big bad-ass when he was younger right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIMoQHpvFQQ PS.  Gandalf would totally win.
