A new episode of the Aaron Torres Sports Podcast is live – with the return of one of our favorite guests, Nevada basketball coach Eric Musselman. But before we get to Coach Muss, Aaron is joined by Nick Coffey as the two discuss a number of topics:

The Rick Pitino Book: It’s the literary smash hit of the summer! Just kidding. The guys dive into all the details of Rick Pitino’s book, and explain why it doesn’t teach anyone anything they didn’t already know about Pitino. Aaron and Nick then debate whether Pitino will ever coach again and his crazy claim that governor Matt Bevin is the reason he lost his job.

A preview of Week 2 of college football: Next up the guys discuss all the big games this weekend in college football. Aaron explains why he thinks Clemson wins big at Texas A&M and the guys both agree Georgia-South Carolina will be a low-scoring slug fest. Also, is there any chance Kentucky can pull the upset against Florida?

Next up, Aaron is joined by one of his favorite guests: Nevada head coach Eric Musselman. Coach Muss led the Wolfpack to the Sweet 16 last year and joined the show earlier this summer. He discuss:

Story Time with Coach Muss: As always, Coach Muss is full stories from his days coaching in the CBA, USBL and G-League. This week’s stories include the time his team was late to a game because they got caught in a McDonald’s drive thru and also when he sent an assistant into the stands to relax and eat popcorn – during a game.

His 2018-2019 team: The Wolfpack are loaded, and most people have them ranked in the Top 10 to begin the year. What has he seen from off-season workouts and how different will next year’s team look on the court? Also, is it easier to coach a team with too much depth or not enough depth?

His small role in creating “Linsanity”: And finally we end with more stories, as Coach Muss explains his small role in helping create “Linsanity.”
