grades The NCAA just released their annual APR (Academic Progress Rate) scores and the UK men's basketball team did pretty darn well, with a four-year composite score of 963, which is well above the NCAA minimum of 900 and the two-year average minimum of 930. The basketball team's four-year average is the ninth best composite score in the SEC behind: 1. Alabama (995); 2. Georgia (990); 3. Florida (989); 4. South Carolina (983); 5. Vandy (980); 6. Ole Miss and Mizzou (979); and 8. Tennessee (973). The football posted an APR composite score of 942, women's basketball 976, baseball 987, and softball 976. The men's basketball team score for 2011-2012 (the most recent year with data) was 977, which is well above the average four-year score for Division I teams of 952. The four-year composite score does NOT include last season, but does reflect the first three years of Calipari's time at UK, in which the team has always come out above the NCAA's threshold.
