The Best High School Players Since LeBron?

by:Ally Tucker05/17/12
Jeff Borzello released a 10-man list on CBSSports.com of the best high school players since LeBron James. Only one Wildcat, Anthony Davis (#9), made the list. John Wall narrowly missed making the top 10, falling into the honorable mention category. Two potential future Wildcats, 2014 Huntington Prep (W.Va) prospect Andrew Wiggins and 2013 prospect Jabari Parker, came in a few spots ahead of Anthony Davis at #6 and #7 on the list.     Borzello states that no one has come close to the level of hype and stardom coming out of high school that LeBron James had. Even the players who are continually hyped as being the "next LeBron," rarely live up to the expectations.   The most attractive part of the article? UK target Andrew Wiggins being dubbed as a potential candidate to take over the #1 spot on this list in the future. Andrew Wiggins, come on down.
