The Fan Outfitters College Basketball Contest (2/5/2011)

The College Basketball Contest sponsored by Fan Outfitters draws one step closer to crowning the inaugural champion. Friday: Princeton faced off against Harvard at home, beating them narrowly by a score of 65-61. Ian Hummer iced the game by nailing two free throws with four seconds left, simultaneously icing BTI's bruised hopes and dreams. 10 of the 12 teams remaining square off against opponents today, with several good match-ups present. 12:00- Cleveland State gets a chance to knock off defending national runner-up Butler at home. Providence, winless on the road, travels to Georgetown. 1:00 - Northern Iowa goes on the road against Drake 2:00- Old Dominion attempts to put an end to George Mason's 11 game home win streak this season. 4:30- The nation's leading offensive scoring team, VMI, gets a chance to steal a road win off 21-2 Coastal Carolina. 6:00- Princeton tries to keep their streak alive at home against Dartmouth, despite it being only one day after a huge conference win over Harvard. 7:00- Oakland takes their 8-6 road record to IUPUI. Duquesne goes away to play St. Bonaventure. 9:00- Texas stays at home to face in-state rival Texas Tech. Utah State takes on Boise State at home.
