In the midst of all the Super Bowl mess from yesterday, another tidbit of information leaked out. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution (breaking all the Kentucky news lately),
Bobby Knight is very interested in the Georgia basketball job. The report suggests that Bobby doesnt want to be seen as pursuing the job (too late), but that he likes the idea of coaching in the SEC to finish off his career. Now this is a spectacular piece of news and would finish off an amazing coaching upgrade in recent years in the SEC East (from Devoe, Peterson, Felton and Odom to Donovan, Pearl, Knight and Horn). Georgia would be a school with little pressure for the General, mainly because basketball would always be second fiddle. Add to that a low dose of expectations and it might be a good final resting place for his Egoness.
