Like all of you, I am a bit nervous about the game on Saturday. Logic tells us that
UNC will likely give Kentucky a beatdown in Rupp, the likes of which we dont often see. UNC is better at nearly every position, is much deeper and is poised to make a run at a national championship. UK is in the first year of a coaching change and is dealing with a number of injuries that are making things difficult. But nevertheless, we can never give up....we must FIGHT! (is that from Braveheart?)
I have mixed emotions on the Heels best player
Tyler Hansborough. I like his aggression and he plays hard, but he also seems a little bit socially awkward and probably would not be that fun to be around. Bomani Jones has me believing that Roy cant coach and I was never that big of a fan of their color of Blue. But I do admit that I have a soft spot in my heart for the Heels, due largely to my adoption of the team (along with the Wolfpack) during my days of self-hatred while at Duke. Thus while I like beating the 2nd best program in NCAA history, I dont hate them.....I just like to see their white boys who hold each other back at the end of the bench cry.
