The Wildcats and the Racers have only played once.  More than 63,000 fans were in the Commonwealth Stadium stands when Rich Brooks took the field for only the second time as the Wildcats' head coach. The Cats took a first quarter lead when Jared Lorenzen connected on an 11-yard touchdown pass to Derek Abney.  In the next five minutes of game time, Lorenzen connected with Chris Bernard for a 60-yard touchdown and the UK defense recorded a safety.  Jared threw one more touchdown pass before half to put the game out of reach. Lorenzen completed 14-of-21 passes for 197 yards and 4 touchdowns before Shane Boyd entered the game in the second half.  Boyd scored the final touchdown of the day, a 27-yard run, to give Kentucky a 37-6 win over the Racers. https://twitter.com/CharlieWalterTV/status/1039018186685984773 The box score from the game has a few names from the past you have forgotten, including a name that really rolls off the tongue, Jeremiah Drobney.
