Lost in the South Carolina shuffle yesterday was the news first reported by the Atlanta Journal Constitution that
TE Terrell Mitchell committed to Kentucky, picking the Cats over Michigan and Miami. In addition to Mitchell's talents (which have been documented by Rob over the last couple of weeks), the fact that the Cats were able to beat out these programs for an out of state kid continues to speak volumes for just how good a job the UK staff has been doing in recruiting. Mitchell has NFL level talent and can be one of the gems of the class. Now all he needs to do is get himself qualified this Spring.....not a certain task. But cheer for the test takers.....Mitchell can join Newton/Mossakowski and Brad Simpson in revamping the future of the UK offense. If that happens, Saturday can be remembered for more than just a loss to the Cocks.
