North Carolina's P.J. Hairston was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana Wednesday night after a routine traffic stop. Now, the story has a new twist. According to ABC 11 in North Carolina,
Durham police confirmed a gun was found on the ground outside Hairston's vehicle. Forensics are being done this morning.
Hairston, who turned down the NBA to return to Chapel Hill, is North Carolina's leading scorer from a year ago and star player heading into the 2013-14 season.
North Carolina will host your University of Kentucky Wildcats on Dec. 14.
