Today UK Athletics did a
Live Blog with John Wall, Demarcus Cousins and Eric Bledsoe and it contained some funny moments. While most of the questions were general basketball things, a few people asked about nicknames. According to Boogie, the nicknames for certain players are:
Jon Hood: Tinky
Perry Stevenson: Prairie Dog
Josh Harrellson: Big Britain
Patrick Patterson: Black Lab, Black Widow, Thick Mustache, Black Cowboy, Midnight, Grandad, Shaft, Sideburns, Chops, Mighty Joe Young, Black Kool-Aid
That is quite a group dont you think? I am mesmerized by the idea that Jorts is "Big Britain" and the various names for Patrick, most of which begin with "Black" (I think I prefer Black Kool-Aid myself).
And by the way, "Prairie Dog" has officially replaced "Purry" as the live blog name for our man Stevenson.
