The SEC might be better than we thought

It was not a good start for the SEC in basketball.  They had several bad losses, but when matched up against good competition, they have handled themselves pretty well.  And you can take solice in the fact that the Pac-10 is terrible.  Take a look at how other conference are faring so far.  1) Big East Combined Record: 79-12 vs BCS schools: 10-9 Good wins: North Carolina (Syracuse), Vanderbilt (Cincinnati), Maryland (Cincinnati), Texas AM (West Virginia), Michigan (Marquette), California (Syracuse) Bad losses: Vermont (Rutgers) 2) ACC Combined Record: 60-13 vs BCS schools: 8-8 Good wins: South Carolina (Miami), Arizona St (Duke), UCONN (Duke), Ohio St (North Carolina), Butler (Clemson), Marquette (Florida St.) Bad Losses: William and Mary (Wake), Northern Iowa (Boston College) 3) Big 12 Combined record: 60-11 vs BCS schools: 6-6 Good wins: Clemson (Texas AM), Memphis (Kansas), Pittsburgh (Texas), Minnesota (Texas AM) Bad Losses: Richmond (Missouri), St. Louis (Nebraska), San Diego (Oklahoma) 4) SEC Combined Record: 51-19 vs BCS schools: 12-9 Good wins: Michigan St. (Florida), Arizona (Vanderbilt), Florida St. (Florida) Bad Losses: Wofford (Georgia), Rider (Mississippi St.), Richmond (Mississippi St.), Cornell (Alabama), Morgan St. (Arkansas), East Tennessee St. (Arkansas), South Alabama (Arkansas) 5) Big 10 Combined Record: 45-19 vs BCS schools: 7-7 Good wins: Maryland (Wisconsin), Notre Dame (Northwestern), Tennessee (Purdue), California (Ohio St.), Butler (Minnesota), Arizona (Wsiconsin) Bad losses: Bradley (Illinois), UNC-Wilmington (Penn St.), Davidson (Penn St.), Boston U.
