Yesterday was a bit of a slow news day around these parts, except for one fact that always gets the natives excited:
Dicky Lyons Jr spoke. He told a television news reporter yesterday that he had come up with a new nickname for UK's offense this year: The Six Sensations. According to Lyons, the group that includes Andre Woodson, Jacob Tamme, Rafeal Little, Keenan Burton, Steven Johnson and old DLJ, are best encapsulated by the term that harkens back to the days of Motown and a more gentle, peaceful musical sound. At first glance, that names seems awful. When you google it (as I did), you get the above picture of an Indian holistic teacher. But then again, Dickie Lyons Jr did say it.....so it cant be all bad. What say you? Is this a good name or not.....or should we keep looking for something better? Suggestions are appreciated....and hopefully we will do better than Martin Newton's famous "Pogo" name for Perry Stevenson.
And in other news, there will be some unfortunate news coming later today about a former UK basketball player......
