On Mark Stoops: "I know what he's all about, I know what his dad was all about, the family is a strong, hard-working family, great football tradition. It was a no-brainer to come here and work for him."
On how the guys are doing in conditioning: "I got to see my guys and the other guys on the team, and you can see their bodies have changed in like six weeks. I mean, my guys alone, they look like they should be looking to play in the SEC. That's a credit to our strength staff."
On the players' attitude: "...You see it in their eyes, you see the way they work and the way they talk now. It's just a new era and I'm really excited to be a part of it."
