The one thing that Rajon Rondo also does is a ton of charity work. Rondo has been notorious from the start of his NBA career of helping out the community and always being present in the community where he plays. Well, that hasn't changed as Rondo is now in Chicago. The Undefeated has a great write up on how Rondo was mentoring a group of boys in Chicago before he even signed a deal with the Bulls. Rondo chose kids in Chicago because of the well-known gun violence in the city and wants to provide guidance to the younger generation. When Rondo was playing against the Bucks in Milwaukee, he had an off night where he surprised 10 boys from Chicago to a steak dinner - something they didn't know Rondo was providing until they got to the restaurant and he walked in. It's a great look at a guy who gets criticized a ton for on the court and locker room stuff, but you can't deny his work in the community. Check out the piece here.
