Screening of DA's "The Untouchables" next week

kentucky-96-team By now, you're probably aware that former Cat Derek Anderson has put together a documentary profiling the 1996 championship team. "The Untouchables" is available for pre-order through their website and includes interviews with most of the players on the team as well as Rick Pitino, Ashley Judd, John Calipari and the ever-present Kenny "Sky" Walker. What you might not know, though, is that pre-ordering the documentary for an undetermined price isn't the only financial appreciation you can show toward the Derek Anderson Foundation and the 1996 NCAA Champions. If you're comfortable with forking over between $150 and $250 for a ticket or $5,000 to $30,000 for a sponsorship, you can have access to the first public screening of the film. The Hyatt Regency Ballroom in Lexington will host the screening event next Friday and, should you part with either of those somewhat untouchable prices, you can mingle with the 1996 team and enjoy a silent auction and dinner, as well as the first showing of the documentary. Or, if you're more of a simple man, you can enjoy this trailer. For free.
