gambling Well, if you were, someone has already taken care of breaking down the game for the gambler in all of us. The experts over at BetFirms took a look at the game, which right now sees Mississippi State favored by 6.5 at home, and talk about where the smart money is in the latest incarnation of the eternal battle between Cats and Dogs. The overall take:
Jack’s Free Prediction: Kentucky +6.5 — I certainly believe that the tough schedule the Wildcats have faced over their last 5 games will have them ready to go against what I feel is an overrated Mississippi State team Saturday. The clear value in this game is with the underdog, especially with a quarterback that can put points on the board in a hurry. Mike Hartline’s 2,144 passing yards and 17 touchdowns to 4 interceptions is getting overlooked due to this team’s mediocre 4-4 start. The Bulldogs are on upset alert this Saturday.
So there you go. Not only does he believe your cash should be with the Cats this weekend in Starkville, but thinks that Mississippi State could fall outright in a win the significance of which can't be understated for Kentucky. Here's to hoping he's right and Starkville ends the weekend worse off than when the Cats found it. If that's even possible.
