[caption id="attachment_299905" align="alignnone" width="1080"] (Photo: Twitter/@CrowdusDekel)[/caption] Frederick Douglass High School's Jager Burton is at the top of the recruiting board in Mark Stoops' office (if the targets are listed from top to bottom in order of priority AND if this board even exists at all) as the top-ranked recruit in the state of Kentucky and one of the last remaining in-state targets who haven't already picked the Cats. Burton is an elite offensive lineman and UK will have to fend off outsiders like Ohio State and Alabama and Clemson (normal) to keep him home in Lexington. Stoops is being helped in the recruitment by Burton's own Douglass teammate, Dekel Crowdus, the four-star wide receiver who joined the Cats' 2021 class earlier this month. Crowdus has been Kentucky's lead recruiter in Burton's recruitment since joining the class himself, and today he shared some nice artwork sent to him from the Kentucky football program in hopes of bringing Burton with him. https://twitter.com/CrowdusDekel/status/1263172786924773378 Moments later, Burton shared it from his own account. https://twitter.com/jager_burton/status/1263176258428506116 This looks good for UK's chances of bringing the Lexington Legends to life in Kroger Field.
