On Tuesday, Mark Stoops, Darian Kinnard, and Josh Paschal will arrive in Hoover to participate at SEC Media Days.

After Georgia and Tennesee talk during the morning, Kentucky will share the afternoon session with Ole Miss. KSR will be in attendance throughout all four days and will have you covered with everything that will happen with the Wildcats.

Here are three questions you can expect Stoops and the players to receive during the mega-event.

Why Liam Coen and the Rams offense?

These questions have all been asked by the local media, but in Hoover, there will be many in attendance wanting to know why. Both regional and national media will press Stoops on the offensive change and why Kentucky is going to  this attack.

Stoops may have just thought the wide zone and 12 personnel was the future of college football as Baylor head coach Dave Aranda claimed at Big 12 Media Days.

Do you like being the underdog?

Despite five consecutive bowl trips, a few All-Americans, stellar offensive line play, and a handful of NFL Draft picks, Kentucky is still an afterthought for many that cover that Southeastern Conference. Therefore, expect a few questions of the “Why are you being slept on?” variety.

Both Stoops and the coaches will receive these. The head ball coach will likely play it off while the players will probably embrace it. No matter how much Kentucky continues to win, this will always be low hanging fruit topic that is addressed.

What is the next step?

The growth for Stoops on the field at Kentucky hasn’t always been uninterrupted, but it has continued consistently. This has allowed the program to knock open doors, climb the ladder, and continue to gobble up wins and successful seasons.

However, the program is still looking to grow. The Wildcats have not shied away from the next step — Kentucky wants to beat Georgia and win the SEC East. Expect to hear that answer multiple times, and it may be scoffed by some. Regardless, the No. 1 goal is clear for those in the Joe Craft Football Training Facility.

Improving the quarterback play and passing game would be a big step forward in achieving this goal.
