Even though the Kentucky Wildcats aren't cruising by opponents, NBA scouts still see plenty of potential. ESPN NBA Draft guru Jonathan Givony (formerly Mr. Draft Express), has three Kentucky freshman in the first round of his latest mock draft: Kevin Knox, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Hamidou Diallo.

12. Kevin Knox to the Charlotte Hornets 19. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to the Chicago Bulls 28. Hamidou Diallo to the Brooklyn Nets

You're probably surprised to see Diallo's name on this list.  After all, the shooting guard has reached double digits only once in the last seven games.  It's ironic that he was projected to the Nets at the end of the first round last year, but Givony still believes it could happen.
Diallo's stock has stagnated somewhat as he hasn't made the type of progress scouts were hoping to see with his feel for the game or skill level. Still, he's one of the best athletes in the draft and could very well continue to improve with the right skill-development coaching, as he's very young and reportedly has a strong work ethic.
