The 2020 College Football Hall of Fame ballot was released on Monday with 76 players and five coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 101 players and 33 coaches from the divisional ranks. Kentucky's own Tim Couch is on the list yet again, I believe for the sixth time since his first appearance in 2014. If he doesn't get inducted this year, I say we protest. The new class will be announced in January 2020 in the days ahead of Kentucky's first ever appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship in New Orleans. The actual induction of the new class will be held in December of next year in New York City. Couch, of course, is an absolute legend: a 1998 consensus First Team All-American, who finished fourth in Heisman voting in 1998 and ninth in 1997; the 1998 SEC Player of the Year after leading UK to its first win over Alabama in 75 years; and set seven NCAA, 14 SEC and 26 school records in his three years as a Wildcat before he was picked first overall in the 1999 NFL Draft. Put him in the Hall of Fame already, dammit.
