Beyond the insensitive and untimely remarks above, I am really excited to hear his attempt was unsuccessful and hope he receives the appropriate treatments and counseling necessary to overcome whatever issues led him to such an unfortunate action. Asshat or not, the world is a lot more interesting with him in it.
