Keeneland's shortened Summer Meet has a LOADED Saturday card. Six graded stakes races culminate with the Blue Grass Stakes, a Kentucky Derby prep race with a deep field featuring more than a dozen three-year-olds. Before we dive into today's action, take a look at out how Friday's feature race, the Maker's Mark Mile, finished at the wire. War of Will, the horse that got clipped by Maximum Security in the Kentucky Derby, came from behind to win in exhilarating fashion on the turf. Expect more of that this afternoon at Keeneland. The morning line Blue Grass Stakes favorite is Swiss Skydiver, a filly who currently holds the most Kentucky Oaks prep race points. With three wins in her last three starts, to keep the winning streak alive she'll have to take down a deep field colts. One scan of the program and you'll see a ton of speed figures in the 90s and 100s. If the filly falters, there will be some big tickets cashed this evening.

NBC Sports will cover the races from 5-7 p.m. ET. You can watch the entire race card from KSBar and Grille. Programs will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We'll be serving Keeneland Breezes for only $6 and you can get a free $25 deposit when you sign up for a TVG account.

Debut of Fight Island

Even if you aren't a big fan of UFC, tonight's event in Abu Dhabi should be exciting. A week after the headliner dropped out, Jorge Masvidal jumped at the opportunity to fight Kamaru Unman for the welterweight title. A pair of knockout kings, Fight Island's first headliner should be a doozy. If you don't want to order the event on ESPN+, you can watch all of exciting action LIVE at KSBar and Grille.

TBT Continues

You can spend your Saturday afternoon watching basketball for four hours, thanks to TBT. Today's games will determine the final semifinal matchup, starting with Overseas Elite vs. the Marshall Alumni team, Herd That, at 2 p.m. ET. The Syracuse alumni team, Boeheim's Army, will play Sideline Cancer immediately after the first game around 4 p.m. ET. All of the action can be seen on ESPN. Friday afternoon the Golden Eagles handled Team Brotherly Love rather easily. That appeared to be replicated in the nightcap, with the Red Scare leading by more than 20 at the start of the Elam Ending. They only needed one bucket to win, but there was a lid on the basket. House of 'Paign cut it to a two-possession game before the Dayton alumni got an easy runaway dunk in transition to advance to the final four.

UK is a Finalist for Top-Ranked Defensive Tackle

Five-star Michigan defensive tackle Damon Payne will announce his college decision Sunday, July 26. Considered the No. 1 defensive tackle in America by the 247 Sports Composite, the Under Armour All-American has ten finalists but Kentucky appears to be near the top of the field alongside Alabama. Can Steve Clinkscale make recruiting magic in Michigan again? In other recruiting news, Jonathan Kuminga will announce his future plans July 16. Kentucky was a finalist once upon a time, but many believe one of the best small forward's in America will ultimately elect a pro route.

Sydney McLaughlin is Olympic Ready

She was going to be a star this summer in Tokyo. Instead the former Wildcat must put her Olympic dreams on hold for another year. That isn't slowing her down.

Prayers Up to a Few Friends of KSR

We need to take all of the good vibes and send them to a pair of the BBN's best. Shawn Reynolds's mother was recently diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer, a deadly disease. Another UK broadcasting alum, Lyndsey Gough, contracted coronavirus while covering sports in south Georgia. While recovering from COVID-19, she suffered appendicitis that required emergency surgery. When it rains, it pours. Please send all of your prayers and well wishes their way during this difficult time.

Scouting Report: Chattanooga Mocs

Kentucky has reached the FCS portion of their 2021 schedule in Week 3. This matchup comes at a good time, but the opponent this year could be more plucky than what we have seen at Kroger Field in the past. Chattanooga is a legit playoff contender in...
