Sunday was a crazy day with Tiger Woods winning The Masters and Jon Snow [SPOILER ALERT] learning his true identity and making out by a waterfall in the return of
Game of Thrones. But to three or four hundred people in Lexington, Sunday also meant meeting Reid Travis at his autograph signing at KSBar and Grille. Travis spent a couple of hours with some of his biggest fans and he couldn't have been nicer to each one of them. Check out some of the pictures from the event:
Now for some news...
Kentucky losing ground with Matthew Hurt.
Today is the Monday of Matthew Hurt Week as the five-star big man from Minnesota is all set to announce his decision this coming Friday. Kentucky had plans to get one last face-to-face in on Sunday, but those plans went south when Hurt pulled the plug on John Calipari's visit (and three other visits) at the very last minute. Hurt's father said it would be too much to cram four visits in on Sunday before the conclusion of the recruiting period at midnight, so the family decided to go ahead and end any and all contact.
Hurt will still wait until Friday to publicly pledge his commitment to a school and all signs point to Duke as the one that will land his services in the end.
Ugh.
Calipari Omaha'd to California.
Once Coach Cal learned he wasn't welcome in Hurt's home in Minnesota, he called an Omaha and redirected his flight to California to lay the groundwork in the recruitment of Makur Maker, a standout in the Class of 2020. A top-15 prospect in that class, Maker is a cousin of Thon Maker and the two play a similar game. He already has some major Pac-12 offers and interest is picking up from other top programs around college basketball.

Keldon Johnson getting the feedback he needs from the NBA.
Here is some news that won't surprise you: Keldon Johnson is probably going to stay in the draft. Over the weekend, KSR learned Johnson likes what he is hearing from the league and the chances he comes back to UK are slimmer than slim to none. Matter of fact, you will probably hear something official from Johnson very soon. Sorry.
Did you watch UK's Blue-White Game?
The UK football program held its spring football game Friday evening in Lexington in front of 16,665 fans (I didn't count that many from my seat). If you were unable to watch because you were busy or caught in traffic outside the stadium, get caught up by

Matt Jones returns to your radio airwaves today.
It's going to be a busy, busy show in one hour.
